Too much time has passed since the last time we updated you on what's happening with Expedition. I am really excited to launch Expedition Fall 2012 in September. The first day of the program is Thursday September 6, 2012. After less than 24 hours of getting to know each other, the teams of 12 students and 2 awesome interns will be crowding into a couple of vans and heading out to Ledge Leadership for their first of many road trips and adventures!! We will be posting lots of pictures and comments and quotes as we take this semester-long journey into discovering our God, our gifts and how to love this world to life!! Some highlights we are looking forward to are: Camp Medeba where we learn some team skills, Montreal/Ottawa and Kingston road trip, CSM chicago inner city trip, living in dorm together on the EBC campus, serving at Ray of Hope and House of Friendship, participating in campus life and chapels, taking a month to serve in Thailand with Frontier Labourers for Christ. There is so much that's possible when you take time out of life to discover God's heart. Pray for us! We want to miaxmize this experience and LAUNC

Lots of buzz is being generated at EBC about this coming Expedition Team. I've spent the winter contacting, recruiting and interacting with amazing young adults who are passionate about growing their walk with God and serving people in need. The team that is forming is dynamic, gifted and excited. It looks like we will have two teams working side by side and in various separate ministries for the fall. At this point we are already registered for CSM Chicago and if you want to find out more about that serve opportunity you can check out their website, www.csm.org and link to the Chicago information.
